Job Summary

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Aquatics Program and Facilities Use Supervisor, this position observes students and patrons at an assigned aquatics center; performs rescue and first aid duties, maintains a sanitary and safe swimming pool and deck, assuring healthy and safe conditions for physical education, instructional programs, and athletic and special events; performs minor maintenance and periodic water testing activities.

Requirements / Qualifications

- Job-related education necessary to perform the essential job duties; one year related lifeguarding experience. - CPR Certificate for the Professional Rescuer - First Aid/Title 22 Certification - Lifeguard Certification A FULLY-COMPLETED ONLINE APPLICATION IS REQUIRED. Attachments such as a resume are not required and will not be reviewed as part of the application review or testing process. Candidates who advance to a selection interview may provide additional documents at that time.
