Job Summary

Job Summary

The Magnolia School District provides comprehensive educational programs for preschool through sixth-grade students in the western portion of Anaheim and parts of Stanton. This full-time position will follow the teacher calendar (Monday - Friday) for the remainder of the 2026/27 school year. The hours of employment will be from 7:55am - 3:00pm, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch. *Work schedule is subject to change at anytime at the District's discretion. DEFINITION Under the direction of Administrator, Student Services and the supervision of the school Principal, conducts a health services program for the evaluation, improvement and protection of the health of pupils and school personnel in accordance with state law and district policy.

Requirements / Qualifications

To apply for the position of School Nurse you must meet the minimum requirements below: -Baccalaureate or higher degree from a regionally-accredited college or university -Valid Registered Nurse License issued by the State of California -Pediatric experience preferred -Audiology certificate preferred

SALARY -Salary is dependent upon Degree(s), number of semester units beyond a Bachelor's Degree, CA Credential, and previous experience; -Additional salary increases are earned for longevity with MSD; -Additional salary steps can be credited for experience for each full year of hospital, clinical and/or school experience while possessing the required credential and/or license; -Certificated staff are paid monthly on an 11-month pay schedule (August-June/CalSTRS or September-July/CalPERS); -NRSE Salary Schedule: https://www.magnoliasd.org/apps/pages/hr-salary-schedules BENEFITS -Health benefits available to employees and their families include medical, dental, and vision; -Benefits Information: https://www.magnoliasd.org/apps/pages/health-benefits WORK YEAR -Anticipated start date is September 2026. If the new hire holds or will be applying for the Preliminary School Nurse Services credential: It is the responsibility of the employee to complete the necessary requirements in order to apply for the Clear School Nurse Services credential. This includes enrollment in a Commission-approved school nurse program and obtain the formal recommendation of the college or university where the program was completed.
