Requirements / Qualifications

SELECTION PROCESS: All applications will be screened to ensure applicant meets minimum qualifications. The process will include a written exam for qualified applicants. Those candidates achieving a passing score on the written exam will be invited to take the oral exam. Passing score is 70% on each exam. An eligibility list will be established and all ranks will receive a departmental interview as positions become vacant. Candidates will remain on the list for one year. All exams are based on the job description for the position. Job descriptions are available on the District website, Personnel Commission, or Human Resources. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 2 years of progressively responsible experience in a human resources environment or closely related area.
