Job Summary
Under the direction of the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), the Director of Technology Infrastructure role is to plan, organize, and manage staff and overall operations to ensure the stable operation of the organization’s IT infrastructure. This includes developing, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing key functional areas, particularly network infrastructure, server infrastructure, data communications, and telecommunications systems. The Infrastructure Director will also schedule and direct activities to resolve hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion. Supervise and assess performance of assigned personnel.
Requirements / Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Any combination equivalent to: Associate or Bachelor of Art/Science degree in information technology related field which would include course work in operating systems, programming and computer architecture and five years of in-depth experience with complex systems analysis, design, implementation, operations, administration, maintenance and programming, with at least four years of experience in environments similar to that of VCOE. LICENSES AND REQUIREMENTS Valid California driver's license.
