POSITION DETAILS The Fullerton School District is seeking qualified individuals for full-time Community Liaison positions. This role supports student and family needs at school sites using a whole-child approach focused on academics, health, social services, youth development, and community engagement. May serve as a bilingual interpreter for meetings, parent conferences, and events. Additionally, the Community Liaison provides Case Management system oversight, managing day-to-day system needs, training staff, resolving issues, and tracking data across target populations. The anticipated vacancy is a 40-hour-per-week position, 12 months per year. The anticipated working hours will be Monday through Friday from 7:30AM to 4:00PM. This position comes with paid holidays, sick leave, and vacation. The district offers a comprehensive prorated benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, and life insurance. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Education: Graduation from high school or equivalent. General education units or related college courses are desirable. Experience: Any combination equivalent to three years of practical experience in working with community service organizations, or youth groups with an emphasis on helping to counsel children with behavioral, educational or disciplinary problems. For more information about this position, please refer to the Job Description. *Special Note: This recruitment requires candidates to be bilingual Spanish (and competency testing will be a part of the recruitment examinations). Additional 1.5% (bilingual) stipends are given to qualified candidates if hired in positions requiring these skills.

EXAMINATION PROCEDURES This is a promotional recruitment. The examination may consist of a training and experience (supplemental responses) evaluation, written test, performance test and/or structured oral interview. To qualify to be placed on an eligibility list, a candidate must obtain a passing score on each part of the examination process. Final scores will be obtained by combining the relative weights of scores on each part of the examination. If Veteran's credit is claimed, proof of status (DD214) must be submitted to the Classified Personnel Commission Office at the same time the application form is submitted or prior to testing. The life of the eligibility list will be twelve (12) months. The resulting eligibility list will be used to fill future vacancies. Date of Examination The date of the examination(s) will be announced at a later date. Candidates who are among the most qualified shall be notified via email, and/or telephone of the time, date and place of the examination(s).
