Requirements / Qualifications
In order to be eligible for this position, Student Teachers must have completed at least two weeks of Student Teaching with their assigned MVUSD mentor teacher and their mentor teacher needs to send an email to sramos@murrieta.k12.ca.us letting us know they would like to recommend their Student Teacher to sub for their classroom. Student Teachers also need to possess a valid CA 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit. (*Note - If you do not have a 30-day permit we will help you apply for one simply attach an explanation as your required credential document.) The district is committed to supporting candidates throughout the hiring process. If selected to be hired, we will cover the costs associated with fingerprints required for employment, pre-employment drug screening and acquiring a valid TB Test if necessary. It's important to note that if you do not currently possess a valid certificate of clearance through the CTC (California Commission on Teacher Credentialing), you will be responsible for the associated fees required for fingerprints and obtaining the necessary permit/credential.
