Education as required by the “Every Student Succeeds Act of 2015” (ESSA): * High school diploma or equivalent AND * Two (2) years of higher education study (48 semester units); OR * Possession of an Associate's or higher degree; OR * Have met a rigorous standard of quality and able to demonstrate through a formal State or District academic assessment knowledge and the ability to assist in the instruction of reading, writing, and mathematics. * Obtain and maintain a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) status with the Behavior Analysis Certification Board; ** Certification is obtained by completing 40 hours of class work in applied behavior analysis AND passing the assessment from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board ** Certification is maintained through direct supervision hours and ongoing training in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis * Obtain and maintain certification in District-approved Crisis Intervention Training * Maintain CPR and First-aid certification *Possession of an appropriate, valid California Driver’s License, evidence of insurability,and a reliable means of transportation
