Job Summary

Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Education Services and the supervision of the LUSD Occupational Therapist(s), the (Certified) Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA/COTA) provides direct services to assist individuals who have mental, physical, developmental, or emotional disabilities that impact their educational performance. The (C)OTA also assists in the procurement, preparation, and maintenance of materials and supplies. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:20 AM-2:20 PM/8:30 AM-2:30 PM depending on school site(s) 5.5 hours/day - 5 days/week (plus 30 minute unpaid lunch) Requirements: Applicant must possess a valid OTA License from the California Board of Occupational Therapy Or a Valid Certification (preferred) from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy Valid California Driver's License First Aid and CPR Certification
