Hourly extra duty assignments are carried out before or after regular school hours on an as needed basis. Many after school programs need teachers to tutor.
Requirements / Qualifications
Open to current El Monte City School District EMETA certificated teachers. Letter of Intent must be submitted to the Personnel office or via email to Alejandra De La Cruz at adelacruz@emcsd.org as soon as possible. Migrant Education Saturday Program Positions: Speech & Debate Coach Location: In-Person: Site to be determined From: 9/2/2026-6/1/2027 Hours & Time: 60 hours (Possible increase of hours for competition and tournament) *Instructional with students 1-2 hours a week *Speech and Debate meetings with Migrant Ed. LACOE Dept. *Speech and Debate competition in February 2027 *Possible- State Speech and Debate Tournament TBD
