Requirements / Qualifications

Experience Job related experience is required. Education Targeted, job related education with study in job-related area. Equivalency Any combination equivalent to: Graduation from High School or equivalent AND two (2) years of experience in related field(s). Military experience may be considered in lieu of job related experience. Two (2) years of college level coursework in Public Relations, Criminal Justice, Communications, English, or other related field is preferred. Licenses and Other Requirements needed: CPR/First Aide Certificate, Driver's License & Evidence of Insurability and SB 1626 Certification Training.

Test Information: The testing process may consist of a minimum of two or more parts; written multiple choice examination(s) and/or verbal performance examinations. Applicants must pass the first test to be invited/considered for the second exercise. Applicants will be notified if they meet the minimum qualifications required to take the written examination. Candidates are required to present a valid picture identification prior to sign-in. Please allow at least 2 or more hours for the written multiple-choice examination.
