Job Summary
DEFINITION Under supervision, to perform skilled operation of powered grounds equipment, including riding mowers, tractors, trucks, and trailers; to perform skilled grounds maintenance and athletic field preparation work; and to perform related work as required. Requirements / Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS • License Required: As a condition of continued employment, possession of a valid and appropriate California Driver's License. • A typical qualifying entrance background is experience in grounds keeping work and the operation of power grounds keeping equipment. • Any combination of training, education and experience which demonstrates possession of the knowledge and abilities as stated, and the ability to perform the duties of the position. • Successfully pass the Application Paper Screening Phase. • Successfully pass the Garvey School District written test for Groundskeeper. • Completion of a Criminal Records Check is required prior to beginning work.
