ASSIGNMENT: Teacher Resource Center (TRC) - Eight (8.0) hours per day. Regular shift will be between 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, 12 months per year. Position subject to alternative work schedule as needed. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: This position is responsible for ordering, cataloguing, processing and monitoring of state textbooks and related instructional materials; maintains the district inventory of instructional materials including library books. Under general supervision, the specialist is responsible for maintaining the TRC, and provides functional support and leadership to Library Media Technicians at school sites as directed.
Requirements / Qualifications
Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade plus two (2) years of higher education or an Associate Degree. Two years of complex clerical experience, including book-keeping, customer service duties and ordering school textbooks and instructional materials. Typing speed of 45 words per minute. A combination of additional experience and education will be considered. Must successfully complete a physical agility exam upon offer of employment at candidate’s expense.
