Requirements / Qualifications

The Vacancy: There is one part-time, 11 months, (5 hours a day, Monday -Thursday) Instructional position at the Adult School. This recruitment will also be used to develop an eligibility list to fill future part-time vacancies and substitute/temporary positions in this classification for up to six months. The Position: Under immediate supervision, to assist an Adult School instructor by performing a variety of general classroom, shop, and routine clerical duties; and to do related work as required.

Required Qualifications: Experience on the job or in a classroom instructional program is preferred. Completion of the tenth grade or equivalent; completion of one or more courses in the area of specialization is desired. Ability to speak Spanish is preferred. Selection Procedure: The selection process will consist of a written exam and a qualifications appraisal interview (each weighted 50%). All of the following documents are required for this position:

  • Letter of Introduction
  • Letter(s) of Recommendation (Three, no older than a year, signed and dated.)
  • Resume
