Job Summary

Working with a certificated Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA) teacher and under the supervision of the site administrator, the VAPA Paraeducator assists in the preparation, presentation, and supervision of classroom, studio, and performance-based activities in the visual and performing arts. The Paraeducator supports instruction in art, music, drama, dance, and related disciplines by assisting students individually and in small groups, preparing instructional materials and equipment, maintaining supplies and displays, and ensuring a safe, positive learning environment.
