Job Summary

Job Summary

Under the supervision of the site principal, provide instructional support to students with the goal of increasing academic achievement. Develop and implement lessons in reading and/or math that incorporate effective research-based strategies. Conduct formative and summative assessments and analyze the data to determine next steps for instruction to meet individual student needs. Collaborate with school staff on lesson design, student progress, and program effectiveness. Communicate student progress with families.

Requirements / Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: Valid California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential authorizing the holder to teach all subjects in a self-contained classroom, and authorizing instruction for English language development and specially designed academic instruction in English. Additionally, demonstrated success, either in prior teaching, student teaching, and/or related experiences, in meeting the intellectual, emotional, and physical needs of pupils, is required.

The following are required documents and must be submitted in order to move forward:

  • Credential Copy (Current California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential)
  • Letter of Introduction
  • Letter(s) of Recommendation (three (3) letters of recommendation within one year and must be dated.)
  • Resume (Current Resume)
