Monday-Friday Work Hours: 8:20am - 3:30 pm This position will serve as an ASL interpreter for a student. The ideal candidate will have RID (Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf) certification. Pre-certification candidates with strong ASL interpretation skills will be considered. This is a temporary position, based on the student's continued enrollment in the school. The following are required for this position prior to offer of employment: ~Fingerprint Clearance ~TB Clearance Application Procedure Individuals who wish to be considered for this position must submit a complete application file consisting of: •A completed online application through edjoin.org •A cover letter •A current resume •Three current professional letters of reference (optional) EDUCATION: Possession of a HS diploma or equivalent AND one of the following: Possession of an AA degree or higher, or 60 semester or 90 quarter units from a recognized college or university. EXPERIENCE: At least one year of experience working with school-age, limited English-speaking children in an educational environment preferred. National RID (Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf) Certificate or equivalent preferred.
