At Method Schools, we continuously advance educational systems to provide families access to non-traditional learning communities and to promote their right to a transformational education. The Special Education Teacher serves a key role in monitoring and supporting special education students. This role oversees a caseload of Special Education students, provides Specialized Academic Instruction in accordance with individualized education plans, and uses a variety of student performance data to align with those plans and ensure academic growth and overall success. This teacher will work with students enrolled in rigorous online courses through Method Schools that require consistent instructional support and teach courses for students accessing a modified curriculum. The Special Education Teacher works closely with instructional staff and the Special Education department to ensure the student's progress and overall success. The Special Education Teacher reports to the Special Education Director.
