Required An earned master's degree or advanced degree of at least equivalent standard from an accredited college of university. Credentials Required California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential in School Counseling, School Psychology, or School Social Work or Valid license through the California Department of Consumer Affairs: Board of Behavioral Science or Board of Psychology; or American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology (ABPN) in any of the following areas: Licensed Educational Psychologist (LEP) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) Licensed Psychologist
