Job Summary
Natomas Unified is seeking a .5 FTE Program Specialist to plan and oversee visual and performing arts activities and operations across multiple elementary/K-8 school sites. This position is funded by Proposition 28 funds. While a teaching credential is not required, experience with providing arts instruction is required. This position would work from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm each day of the week.
Requirements / Qualifications
Education/Experience: Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities could qualify someone for this position. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be: Education: Equivalent to a Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university with major In education, education administration, public administration or a related field that would be applicable to assigned department(s). Experience: Three years of increasingly responsible experience In related field, preferably in a public education setting.
