OPENING DETAILS: Monday - Friday, 8 hours per day Work Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Salary Range: Schedule C (Confidential Employees) - Range B (New employees to the district will begin at Step-I) BASIC FUNCTION: Under the direction of an Assistant Superintendent or other administrator, perform varied and complex secretarial and administrative assistant duties and provide assistance in matters related to employee/employer relations which normally require access to confidential information used to contribute significantly to the development of management positions (EERA Section 3540.1c); assist with employee negotiations; interpret and explain State and Federal laws and guidelines, District policies, programs, rules, requirements and procedures; organize and coordinate workflow and communications; serve as office manager and provide work direction for subordinate office personnel; perform highly responsible secretarial duties and administrative assistant duties to relieve the Assistant Superintendent or other administrator.
