Job Summary
Job Summary
The Certified Wellness Coach II (CWC) is a state-certified professional recognized by the California Department of Health Access and Information, established as part of the Children and Youth Behavioral Health Initiative. The CWC’s primary responsibility is to deliver prevention and early intervention services aimed at supporting the behavioral health and well-being of children and youth. The CWC will operate as an integral member of a care team and work under the supervision of a Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credentialed professional or licensed clinician. The role of the CWC includes working within educational settings, as well as in school-based and school-linked community-based environments. .
Requirements / Qualifications
Requirements: Receive either a Certified Wellness Coach II or Registered-Certified Wellness Coach II certification through the California Department of Health Care Access and Information (HCAI)
