Under general supervision, perform a variety of Special Education instructional activities; assist children experiencing special learning needs; administer, score and record a variety of assessments; carry out routine clerical and supportive tasks; and perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements / Qualifications
This is a part-time position. You will be working 1:1 with a student. • High school diploma or equivalent, and one of the following: 1. Associate of Arts degree, or 2. Completion of two years of study at an institution of higher education (48 semester units), or 3. Completion of a formal local or state academic assessment test. • Department of Justice clearance • Current TB test with screening every 4 years to remain up to date Central School District offers the academic assessment test, free of charge. Next Testing date: July 28, 2026, at 9:00 am. Please call the District office to sign up.

- Letter(s) of Recommendation ( 1 Letter- six months preferred - will accept up to one year. Preferrably one from current supervisor.)
- Paraprofessional Testing (Paraprofessional Testing (Academic Assessment Test, or AA Degree, or 48 semester units from an institution of higher education)
