The District schools include: Waggoner Elementary School (TK - 2), Shirley Rominger Intermediate School (3-5), Winters Middle School (6 - 8), Winters High School (9 - 12), Wolfskill Career Readiness Academy (grades 9 - 12), and the Winters State Preschool Center and Head Start Program. The District employs approximately 250 employees and is the 2nd largest employer in Winters. Students have access to excellent core academic programs which are enhanced by strong co-curricular and extra-curricular activities including visual/performing arts, athletics and student leadership opportunities. Requirements / Qualifications
DOCUMENTS/MATERIALS: -Letter of Interest -Resume -2 Letters of Recommendation QUALIFICATIONS: -Bus drivers must have the ability to operate up to and including a 40 foot vehicle with air brake -Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade -Good driving record; must be able to qualify for District insurance coverage -Experience in the operation of heavy vehicles LICENSES/CERTIFICATES for BUS DRIVERS : -Valid California motor vehicle operator’s license, Class B, with passenger and school bus endorsement -Valid California School Bus Driver’s Certificate -First Aid Certificate issued by the American Red Cross or US Bureau of Mines, or pass a first aid examination conducted by the California Highway Patrol -Valid medical certificate approved by the Department of Motor Vehicles or the Federal Highway Administration of the US Department of Transportation
