San Dimas CA 91773 JOB SUMMARY: The Los Angeles County Office of Education and the Juvenile Court Schools seek well-qualified individuals to serve as dynamic, creative, and team-oriented Teachers. Under the supervision and direction of the school principal, the juvenile court schoolteacher provides an educational program for students. The ideal candidate will work to best prepare At-Promise students and provide opportunities for educational success, including but not limited to credit recovery, high school diploma, trade, career readiness, or college. The selected teacher/s will have skills and experience that engage a diverse student population while embedding many skills beyond the content area. Students at the Juvenile Court Schools are challenged to think globally and self-reflect while nurturing communication, presentation, and dynamic group skills. Beyond being an expert in a subject matter, the ideal teacher candidate should effectively utilize various teaching and assessment strategies.

LICENSE OR CERTIFICATE: • Must possess and maintain a valid California Teaching Credential authorizing instruction in Multiple Subjects, Mathematics, or Science. Single Subject credential preferred. • Must have CLAD or BCLAD. • Must attach credentials with document number.
