Imagine Schools Riverside County is seeking a caring, dependable, and student-centered Full-Time 1:1 Aide to provide individualized support to an upper-elementary student with significant special education needs. The Aide will work under the direction of the student’s special education teacher and SPED Manager to support the student’s access to instruction, participation in school routines, communication, behavior, social development, and independence. When the assigned student is absent or does not require direct support, the Aide will serve as a general education or special education paraprofessional, supporting students and staff as assigned by site administration. Essential Duties and Responsibilities ? Provide consistent one-to-one support to the assigned student throughout the instructional day, including classroom instruction, transitions, recess, lunch, enrichment, and other school activities as needed. ? Implement instructional, behavioral, communication, and social-emotional support strategies developed by the special education teacher, IEP team, and related service providers. ? Assist the student in accessing grade-level and modified curriculum, completing assignments, and participating meaningfully in classroom activities. ? Support the student’s development of independence, self-regulation, communication, appropriate peer interactions, and daily living skills, as appropriate. ? Assist with behavior intervention plans, including documenting behaviors, using proactive strategies, and supporting de-escalation in a calm, respectful manner. ? Maintain appropriate supervision and ensure student safety at all times. ? Assist with mobility, positioning, feeding, toileting, hygiene, or other personal-care needs, if required by the student’s IEP or individual needs. ?
