Vista High School is seeking a Head Girls Water Polo Coach for the 2026-27 school year. The school is a comprehensive high school of nearly 1,700 students located six miles from the coast in beautiful North San Diego County. Vista High School’s athletic program has a long history of success and is looking for a qualified, motivated coach to continue building and developing the Girls Water Polo program. The Vista High School Girls Water Polo program is: *A member of the North County Conference Valley League. Competing against Escondido, Mission Hills, Ramona and Rancho Buena Vista High School. *Committed to developing student-athletes both academically and athletically *Focused on building a competitive program that represents Vista High School with pride, sportsmanship, and integrity Support & responsibilities for the Head Girls Water Polo Coach include: *Lead all practice planning and game preparation *Provide instruction in individual skills, team concepts, and overall water polo development *Oversee the issuing, collection, and care of uniforms and equipment *Work collaboratively with assistant coaches, athletic administration, and school staff *Promote academic achievement, sportsmanship, and positive character among student-athletes *Act as a role model for integrity, hard work, and representing Vista High School positively in all interactions on and off campus *Build and maintain a positive team culture *Communicate effectively with student-athletes, parents, school administration, and the Athletic Department *Perform other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director or Administration
