Sahag-Mesrob Armenian Christian School is seeking a passionate, dedicated, and Christ-centered Full-Time Middle School English Teacher to join our team for the 2026–2027 school year. Position Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging, standards-based lessons in reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, literature, and critical thinking. Implement the school's adopted English curriculum while incorporating differentiated instruction and best teaching practices. Integrate educational technology into daily instruction to enhance learning, collaboration, research, and student engagement. Utilize learning management systems, Google Workspace for Education, and other digital tools to communicate, assign work, and monitor student progress. Assess student learning through formative and summative assessments, maintain accurate records, and provide timely feedback. Foster a positive, structured, and respectful classroom environment with strong classroom management. Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and classroom expectations. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field required; teaching credential preferred. Previous middle school teaching experience preferred. Strong knowledge of middle school English Language Arts curriculum and instructional best practices. Excellent classroom management, organizational, and communication skills.
