Job Summary
The Magnolia School District provides comprehensive educational programs for preschool through sixth-grade students in the western portion of Anaheim and parts of Stanton. This full-time position will follow the teacher calendar (Monday - Friday) for the remainder of the 2026/27 school year. The start date is TBD. *Work schedule is subject to change at anytime at the District's discretion. DEFINITION Under the direction of site Principal and or Designee, will provide classroom instruction and basic supervision of children. Creates a flexible elementary-grade program and a class environment favorable to learning and personal growth for all students; establishes effective rapport with students; motivates students to develop skills, behavior, and knowledge needed to build a solid foundation for secondary grade-level education and career and college readiness in accordance with each student’s ability. Performs other related work as necessary or required.
Requirements / Qualifications
This position is only open to current Magnolia School District employees. All other applicants will not be considered. To apply for the position of General Education Teacher - Transitional Kindergarten you must be a current Magnolia School District employee and meet the requirement below: - Multiple Subject Teaching credential w/EL authorization In addition to requirement above you must have one of the following: -At least 24 units in early childhood education, or childhood development, or both -Child Development Teacher Permit issued by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing
In addition to the requirements above, you must complete the EdJoin application and upload the following documents:
- Credential Copy (Detailed document from CTC [must show authorization])
- Letter of Introduction (Addressed to: Dr. Robert Kimble)
- Letter(s) of Recommendation (Signed Letters Required - No more than 3)
- Other (Proof of Early Childhood Education Requirement [24 units or permit])
- Resume
- Test Results/Materials (CBEST/BSR, MSAT/CSET & RICA [if applicable])

SALARY PLACEMENT INFORMATION
-Salary is dependent upon Degree(s), number of semester units beyond a Bachelor's Degree, CA Credential, and previous experience;
-Additional salary increases are earned for longevity with MSD;
-Additional salary steps can be credited for experience for each full year of prior public school teaching experience with proof of service(s);
-Certificated staff are paid monthly on an 11-month pay schedule (August-June/CalSTRS or September-July/CalPERS);
