Job Summary
Under the general supervision of the CAP supervisor/manager, qualified teachers, school nurses or program specialists, provides specialized instruction, behavior or health service to students in Special Day Classes (SDC) or other appropriate learning environments. The service model may be 1:1, dyad, small group, push-in class support, or pull-out services. The Behavior Interventionist II will receive direct supervision from CAP supervisors, managers or other administrators as assigned.
Requirements / Qualifications

Active certification with the BACB as BCaBA or higher can be accepted in lieu of all testing requirements. Some testing requirements may be met by providing one of the following documents: Active certification with the BACB as RBT, fully passed the CBEST or CSET, (Multiple Subjects: mathematics, reading and writing skills); SAT, at least 500 on the SAT English exam and at least 550 on the SAT mathematics exam; ACT, at least 22 on the ACT English exam and at least 23 on the ACT mathematics exam, US College or University Degree, Evaluated Foreign College or University Degree, you may attach the copy of the certificate and further testing may not be required. *THESE DOCUMENTS ARE NOT REQUIRED. REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:
- Letter(s) of Recommendation (Two current, written within the last year)
