BASIC FUNCTION: Under the supervision of the Department Director, performs a variety of advanced technical services in the installation, operation, diagnosis, repair and maintenance of computers, network systems and related communication devices; provides advanced technical user support assistance; set up and operate audio-visual equipment; deliver technology quotes and approve requisitions.
Requirements / Qualifications
SCOE Classified Application. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Degree from an accredited college or university in Information Technology and four years’ experience working in network environments, operations, computer installation, audio video, telephony, troubleshooting and repair work. Possession of CompTIA A+ certificate or higher-level certificate required. A combination of education, training, and experience that could provide the desired skills, knowledge and abilities may be considered. TESTING INFORMATION: Those qualified will receive an email with information regarding testing time and location. ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS: The following documents are not required at the time of application but will be required of the selected applicant prior to employment: •DOJ Fingerprint clearance •TB Skin Test clearance •Lift & Drug Screen clearance LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Valid Driver's License. Driving a SCOE vehicle. Required to provide own transportation and must have proof of insurance.
