Job Summary
The job of Library Services Technician is done for the purpose/s of providing support to the educational process with specific responsibilities for performing clerical functions related to collection, processing, and circulation in a school library; and assisting students and staff in the library and/or computer lab. This job is distinguished from similar jobs by the following characteristics: The Library Technician represents the first level in a library support career ladder created for school sites. Library Technicians demonstrate the ability to perform circulation, restocking and organizing of library materials, and customer service. This job reports to Principal
