Certificated Teacher – Kindergarten through Grade 8

Redwood Coast Montessori School is seeking qualified certificated teachers to serve students in Kindergarten through Grade 8.

Credential Requirements

Applicants must hold a valid California teaching credential issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) that authorizes the holder to provide instruction to students in the grade levels and subject areas associated with the position.

Acceptable credentials may include, as applicable to the teaching assignment:

1. California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential; or
2. Another valid California teaching credential or authorization that legally authorizes the applicant to provide instruction in the assigned Kindergarten through Grade 8 setting.

The credential must be valid and appropriate for the specific teaching assignment. Applicants are responsible for maintaining all credential requirements and authorizations required by the State of California throughout their employment.

Position Summary

The Certificated Teacher is responsible for providing standards-aligned instruction and creating an engaging, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for students. Teachers will work collaboratively with colleagues, school leadership, students, and families to support the academic, social-emotional, and developmental needs of students while supporting the educational mission and instructional program of Redwood Coast Montessori School.

Employment Classification: Certificated

Grade Levels: Kindergarten–Grade 8

Credential: Appropriate and valid California teaching credential required
