Job Summary

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Family Resource Center Coordinator, the Community School Liaison (CSL) will improve school support systems and offer coordinated resources for students and families. The CSL will work to unify our county's schools, programs, activities, community agencies and other stakeholders to develop an integrated, sustainable system of support for students and their families through resource education and providing access to available resources.

Requirements / Qualifications

Education and Experience: A combination of training and experience, which would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities, may be qualifying. We reserve the right to determine if a candidate meets the qualifications. •Associate’s degree with major course work in education, psychology, social work, early childhood education, human development or other closely related field desirable. •One (1) year experience working with children, youth, families and/or teachers and experience in education, early childhood programs, mentoring or similar social services program. •Intermediate level desirable: Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Publisher •Bilingual in Spanish; orally and written form, highly desirable.
