Requirements / Qualifications
Must pre-qualify by attaching one documentation from the following list:
1. A passing score from San Juan Unified School District's Proficiency Exam - testing date must be April 2005 to current. No other school districts proficiency exam will be accepted. To book an appointment to take the exam, please visit http://booknow.appointment-plus.com/y7j3ej94/
OR
2. official passing score from the California Basic Educational Skills Test (CBEST)
OR
3. OFFICIAL transcripts demonstrating the completion of two years of college (48 semester/60 quarter units)
OR
4. Proof of an A.A. degree (or higher).
***If your degree/transcripts are from a foreign college or university, YOU MUST have coursework evaluated for its equivalency to a degree/transcripts received from an accredited United States college or university.
- Valid certification provided by the national Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) or
equivalent, or score 4.0 or higher on a state-approved evaluation examination (i.e. EIPA,
ESSE-I/R, or NAD/ACCI)
- Valid California Class C driver’s license issued by the California Department of Motor
Vehicles within 30 days of hire or before driving any vehicle requiring this license.
