The Mental Health Clinician provides all students with equitable access to the supports needed to thrive academically, socially, emotionally, and developmentally. The role advocates for the diverse needs of students and families, collaborates with educators and community partners to implement effective interventions and support systems, and provides consultation that promotes student well-being and success.

This position will be assigned across two school sites: Newark Memorial High School and Newark Middle School.
TRAINING/EXPERIENCE
Master’s Degree or advanced degree of at least equivalent standard; license or training in area(s) of MFCC, LCSW, MFT, or Clinical Psychologist.
Experience in community outreach, including public speaking.
Drug and alcohol treatment experience preferred.
PPS Credential preferred in School Social Work or School Psychology
Education Stipends
• $1,000 Masters stipend
• $2,000 Doctorate stipend
• $1,500 National Board Certification stipend
