Food Service Assistant supports the daily operation of school meal programs, including transporting meals between campuses, serving students, maintaining food service areas, and assisting with general cleaning. • Set up food service areas and prepare for meal service. • Serve meals to students. • Clean and sanitize food service areas following meal service. • Perform general cleaning duties, including emptying trash receptacles. • Restock food service supplies and materials. • Transport food trays, carts, supplies, and other materials as needed. • Follow applicable food safety and sanitation procedures. • Perform other related duties as assigned.
