LUSD is accepting applications for Teacher Substitutes to provide instructional support at various school sites throughout the District on an as-needed basis.
Requirements / Qualifications
To be considered for a Teacher Substitute position with LUSD, applicants must be on the Tulare County Office of Education (TCOE) Countywide Substitute Teacher List. Candidates who meet the minimum requirements and are interested in applying for this position, must apply online and attach the following documents to complete the application: - Credential Verification: A valid California Emergency 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit; Preliminary or Clear Multiple Subject Teaching Credential; Preliminary or Clear Single Subject Teaching Credential; or another valid credential issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC). ** No letter of interest/introduction, resume, transcripts, or letters of recommendation are required. Once your online application has been submitted and reviewed, and the required employment reference checks in accordance with AB 2534 have been completed, the Human Resources Department will contact selected applicants regarding the next steps in the process.
