Our program builds on students' natural talents through small class sizes, personalized learning options, regular advisement sessions, project-based activities, and interdisciplinary instruction. We are seeking a part-time SAT instructor to teach test-taking strategies to high school students during our Fall, Spring, and Winter Break terms. The ideal candidate will be positive, confident, and energetic, and will make a meaningful impact. Expected qualifications, knowledge, skills, and experience include: Bachelor's Degree in Education, English, or a related field 2 Years of Teaching Experience (as a high school teacher or teacher aide); Digital SAT experience required. Strong verbal and written communication, organizational, and leadership skills Applicants should be energetic and enthusiastic, displaying a high level of tolerance, patience, and support Experience working with high school students Applicants should be flexible, resourceful, and able to communicate well with students and families. Duties and Responsibilities Create teaching strategies to engage students and encourage class participation. Present lessons to facilitate students' understanding and application of SAT concepts Assign homework and give and grade tests. Assess student performance to determine if they are learning at an acceptable level and pace. Communicate student concerns or issues to administrators. Location 4947 Alton Pkwy, Irvine, CA 92604 Work Schedule SAT Fall Term August 29, 2026, to October 31, 2026 Saturdays 11:00 am to 1:00 pm SAT Spring Term January 1, 2027, to April 24, 2027 Saturdays 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Intensive SAT Winter Break December 21, 2027, to December 23, 2027 Monday to Wednesday (3 days) 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm December 28, 2027, to December 30, 2027 Monday to Wednesday (3 days) 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm Pay $40 to $70 per hour based on experience
