MATERIALS POSITION DESCRIPTION: Under the direction of the Principal, the job of the Science Teacher is done for the purpose(s) of providing a variety of individual and group instruction to students enrolled in the Leadership Military Academy to ensure appropriate instruction as determined by California State Standards. The incumbent is responsible for developing and employing strategies to build honor, pride, self-discipline, and leadership in youth through positive behavior management. CERTIFICATES/CREDENTIALS/LICENSES: • Valid California single subject credential with a Science authorization • EL certification such as CLAD, BCLAD, or SDAIE You must provide copies of permit/credential as required for position or provide evidence of qualifying for required permit/credential with your application materials to qualify for the position.
