Requirements / Qualifications
- Copies of Required Credentials - Resume - Letter of Introduction - Three (3) Current Letters of Recommendation
EDUCATION: Certified Wellness Coach I: Associate degree or higher in an area required by CDHCAI (CA Dept. of Health Care Access and Information and at least 1000 hours of field experience working in mental health, substance use/addiction, social work, and/or child welfare at school linked/school-based organizations, non-profits, community organizations, and/or clinics/health centers. *Any combination of hours from field practicum, volunteer hours, and work experience qualifies as field experience. Certified Wellness Coach II: BA degree or higher in one of the following fields (social work, health and human services, addiction studies, child development/early intervention, psychology or sociology) EXPERIENCE: Minimum one-year prior experience working in an educational setting or other youth-oriented program desired.
