Under the Direction of the Deputy Superintendent, the Director of Special Education will plan, manage, supervise, and coordinate the programs and activities within the Special Education department; coordinate assigned activities with other departments, outside agencies, and the general public; and provide responsible and complete administrative support to the Deputy Superintendent.
