Vibrant Minds Charter School is a free, public TK–6 charter school located in Anaheim, California. Our educational program emphasizes a strength-based approach to learning, Differentiation, Individualization, and Personalization (DIP), Project-Based Learning (PBL), Technology-Infused Education (TIE), social-emotional development, collaboration, and strong partnerships with families. We are especially interested in TK educators who understand developmentally appropriate practices for four- and five-year-old scholars and can create warm, safe, joyful, inclusive, and intellectually engaging learning environments. Our TK teachers support the development of the whole child through a thoughtful balance of explicit instruction, purposeful play, exploration, inquiry, movement, creativity, and scholar choice. Because young scholars are developing independence in many areas, TK teachers must also be comfortable supporting age-appropriate personal-care and self-help needs, including assisting with toileting and hygiene as needed, while maintaining scholar privacy, dignity, health, and safety.
