Job Summary

Under general supervision of a classroom teacher, the Teacher Assistant at SCOE State Preschool supports a program that allows students to participate in their environment as independently as possible. The Teacher Assistant supports the instruction, care, and supervision of developmentally, communicatively, or physically disabled children and youth. The scope of duties includes a variety of general classroom assistance, physical assistance, and specialized health care assistance.
