Sanger West Complex – 12:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Only currently contracted SUSD employees may apply A district-wide eligibility list will be established, is valid for one year, and will be used to fill full-time and substitute positions in this classification. Assists in supervising, scheduling, assigning, and reviewing the work of staff responsible for providing custodial cleaning, light maintenance work refinishing services. Ensures that school and district facilities are suitable for use by complying with cleanliness and safety requirements. May conduct training and participate in the more skilled work performed by custodians.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and three years of custodial experience with some experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
Selection Process All applications will be screened to ensure applicants are currently contracted with SUSD and meet minimum qualifications. The process will include two oral panel exams scheduled for September 10, 2026; a Leadership panel and a Technical panel. A passing score of 70% is required on each exam. Those candidates achieving a passing score of 70% or higher will be placed on an eligibility list to receive a departmental interview. The Eligibility List is good for one year. All exams are based on the job description for the position. Job descriptions are available on the District website, Personnel Commission, or Human Resources.
