Job Summary
Part-time - 20 hours per week - Provides individual assistance to students with special physical health needs. - Performs a variety of instructional activities to support the teaching and learning processes. - Performs routine clerical and support tasks for instructional personnel. - Supervises students in the classroom and on the school grounds.
Requirements / Qualifications
Classroom Paraprofessional AA Degree (or pass instructional aide test); Ability to work patiently with young children of varying disability levels, ability to instill self-esteem and sense of responsibility in children, basic skills competency, and excellent public relations and interpersonal skills. Internal candidates will need to notify HR Director Brianna Brown. External applicants will be responsible for completing an application package through Edjoin (www.edjoin.org), which includes an application, a Letter of Introduction addressing the position's qualifications and requirements, a current resume, and two current letters of recommendation.
