Job Summary
The position manages employee benefit programs such as medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance through Paycom. Key duties include supporting enrollment for new hires, life events, and open enrollment; preparing benefits communication materials; reconciling payroll and carrier billing; completing ACA reporting; maintaining accurate HRIS records; handling COBRA administration; resolving employee benefit issues; and coordinating with brokers, vendors, and carriers to ensure smooth plan administration and service delivery. The role also oversees leave management, serving as the main contact for employees, managers, and HR on leave requests such as FMLA, CFRA, disability, pregnancy-related leave, workers’ compensation, and military leave. Responsibilities include determining eligibility, issuing required notices and forms, supporting accommodations and the interactive process under ADA/FEHA, coordinating with payroll on pay and benefits during leave, managing premium billing for unpaid leave, and handling return-to-work clearances and reintegration. Overall, the role ensures compliance, accuracy, and employee support across benefits and leave processes.

Proof of a clear TB Tine test dated within the last 60 days (Ed. Code 49406) upon employment and thereafter updated every four years Letter of Introduction Letter(s) of Recommendation (Three current letters of recommendation. Within the last year and at least one from a former or current immediate supervisor) Resume
