Bus Driver: Education/Certification/Experience: Any combination of training and experience in the transportation industry. Licenses and other Requirements: Valid California Driver’s License, Class B/P/S Valid California School Bus Driver’s Certificate No vehicle type restrictions (Proof of driver's license and driving record must be submitted by the successful candidate(s) at time of hire) Valid medical certificate issued by a District approved physician Subject to random drug testing First Aid and CPR Certificates or pass exam given by the Highway Patrol Driving record acceptable to the District’s insurance carrier Complete background investigation as required by the California Highway Patrol Desired Qualification: Public school fleet driving experience. *****In order to be considered for a permanent Bus Driver position, applicants must possess a high school diploma or its equivalent and meet all other qualifications and requirements outlined in the job description.*****

This position is to begin As Soon As Possible. However, a start date is contingent on fingerprint clearance from the Department of Justice. Fingerprints will be taken at the time the position is accepted. Applicant is responsible for the required fingerprinting fee.
Fingerprint clearance does not pertain to current employees of the Chaffey District.
