Instructional Aide – Title I / Yard Duty Paradise Elementary School 6 Hours Per Day | 2026–2027 School Year Paradise Unified School District is seeking a caring, dependable, and student-focused Instructional Aide – Title I / Yard Duty to join the team at Paradise Elementary School. This 6-hour-per-day position provides a great opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of elementary students. The successful candidate will support students academically in the classroom and help create a safe, positive, and welcoming environment during recess, lunch, and other student activities. Position Responsibilities Under the direction of certificated staff and site administration, the Instructional Aide will: Provide instructional support to individual students and small groups in reading, math, and other academic areas. Reinforce classroom lessons and assist students in completing assigned activities. Work collaboratively with teachers to support student learning and achievement. Assist with classroom organization, preparation of instructional materials, and other activities that support instruction. Encourage positive student behavior, participation, independence, and confidence. Supervise students during recess, lunch, transitions, and other assigned yard-duty periods. Promote and reinforce playground and school safety expectations. Respond appropriately to minor student conflicts and seek assistance from certificated or administrative staff when needed. Build positive and respectful relationships with students and staff. Maintain confidentiality regarding students and District matters. Perform other related duties as assigned.
