Job Summary
Under the direction of the Executive Director of MRAS, plan, organize, and supervise the activities of the Curriculum and Instruction division through leadership and direction of the vision of Mojave River Academy Schools through the development, implementation, and evaluation of all curricular and instructional programs. Including, but not limited to, supervising the Academic Coordinators and Teachers on Assignment responsible for curriculum development, assessment, professional development in instruction, ELD curriculum and instruction, and Title funded resources and programs. Assures compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations associated with all the District schools and Mojave River Academy Charter Schools.
Requirements / Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and Master's degree from accredited College(s) or Universities, A valid Clear California Administrative Services Credential and valid Clear Tier II. Administrative Services Credential or intern eligible working A valid California Teaching/Service Credential that meets professional teacher education requirements of school, district, and state. A valid Clear California English Learner (EL) Authorization preferred Hold a valid California Driver's License. A minimum of three (3) years of successful full time K-12 teaching experience. A minimum of three (3) years of successful leadership experience, at the site level. Preferred public school educational experience, charter school education experience, alternative educational school experience and educational school administrative experience with concentration in administration and/or school personnel management
