Job Summary

Under the general direction of the superintendent, site principal or designee, the Expanded Learning Program Coordinator plans, coordinates, implements, monitors, and evaluates the district’s expanded learning programs, including the After School Education and Safety (ASES) Program and the Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELO-P).

Requirements / Qualifications

Associate’s Degree or higher from an accredited college or university in education, child development, recreation, public administration, social services, or a related field is preferred. Experience managing program grants, contracts, and compliance requirements is preferred. Experience working with diverse student populations, families, school personnel, and community organizations is beneficial. Experience with ASES, ELO-P, or other state or federally funded education programs is highly desirable.

Valid California driver’s license and access to reliable transportation. Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation fingerprint clearance. Tuberculosis clearance Current first aid and CPR certification with the timeframe required by the District. Completion of mandated reporter and other required District training.
